Fraud, Waste & Abuse System
Carrollton’s Fraud Waste and Abuse System (FWAS) is an Investigative Case Management System that was born of the need to monitor, report, and police Fraud, Waste & Abuse across our extensive history working compensation programs.
The programs Carrollton works on nearly always require investigation of the inevitable instances of fraud that occur within compensation or reimbursement programs of all types at scale.
We built this system to a center-node for the many pathways that indicia of fraud can be identified by. It can also be a stand-alone or part of an overall solution.
Carrollton’s FWA System can work in conjunction with an existing compensation or reimbursement program or be totally independent of them in an unrelated use cases such as credit disputes or opioid abuse for example.
While the most common interaction is with some kind of scoring sytem, FWAS often also interacts with external systems or file-based referrals or exclusion lists such as the Federal EPLS, LEIE or TSA/FAA No-Fly lists. The unique outcomes that are required by a program can be customized to fit client’s needs.
